This year we have introduced our Cassowary Chicks hockey program for children aged between 2 and 4.

The Program
Cassowary Chicks hockey gives young boys and girls the opportunity to learn the basic skills of hockey, develop fundamental motor skills, play fun games and make friends in a team environment. The Program will be run by qualified coaches and mentors and include fun activities incorporating age appropriate learning skills.
When:
Chicks will be held on Sunday mornings at 9:00 am at Coronation Park area in Mossman Showgrounds. New players are welcome anytime.
Costs:
Cost for the Cassowary Chicks Program is $45 per player which includes: a free Hookin2hockey backpack, hockey stick, ball, shinguards and playing singlet. Mouthguards are strongly recommended to be worn. These are available from local pharmacies. Players are requested to wear runners or sports boots. We strive to be a sun safe sport and strongly recommend sunscreen
